UPS Expands Domestic Air Service

UPS Inc. said Monday it is offering “significant enhancements” to its domestic on-call pickup service in for air packages.

UPS said it has made the service for air packages available for the first time in more than 4,000 ZIP codes, and that air pickup times have been extended in nearly 6,000 ZIP codes.

Together, the company said the enhancements, which were added last month, represent improved service for 26% of all U.S. businesses.

UPS is ranked No. 1 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
