Highland Forwarding Moving to New Facility
A multimillion dollar international freight forwarding company will move its headquarters from Manchester to Londonderry after planning board members approved a 120,580-square-foot Class A office complex near Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
Highland Forwarding will leave its current space at 315 Highlander Way as soon as construction is complete, hopefully by next year, according to Radek Maly, president.
"We are building for the future," he said. "We have outgrown our space in Manchester, so we are looking to move."
Highland started 10 years ago in Manchester and has since become one of the fastest-growing private companies in the state with about $12 million in annual sales, according to Maly. He plans to use half of one building for his company while leasing two other buildings for professional office space, possibly to other businesses that deal with the airport. Highland currently has 11 employees, though Maly said he hopes for about 25 within five years.
